Build America’s Future. Together.

Author: Tammy Green

Are you concerned about the plan to rebuild American democracy? Do you think that marches and protests, while needed, don’t leave us with a clear vision of what comes next? Many of us are also concerned. That’s why we’re taking steps to build that future.

Our vision for America revolves around four key pillars: Governance, Economy, Humanity and Justice, each leading to a government that serves all people. To support each pillar, the Project 2029 team is developing policies that citizens, candidates for office, and other organizations can use to build that future.

First and foremost, we must take decisive action to strengthen our democratic system of governance. Doing so will renew our nation’s promise of governance of, by, and for the people. The time has come to enhance citizen representation in our nation’s most important decision-making processes, from the economy and housing to health care and education.

Our initial policy launch addresses Electoral College Reform <link: tbd>, outlining the need for fairer elections that support the one person, one vote principle. We seek to pair ideas with action, which is why we are calling for the adoption of the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact to achieve electoral fairness and voter enfranchisement nationwide.

You can help drive change in three easy steps:

Together, we can make a difference.

Project 2029 is a citizen-led initiative that develops policies and ideas that serve all Americans and address the systems that do not. Want to contribute? Join the Project 2029 Organizer’s Team. We welcome organizers with various backgrounds and skills, including policy development, volunteer management, marketing, and more.  Volunteers of different skill levels and abilities are welcome to participate.
